PERFORMACE

Poco X3 Pro is a performance-oriented smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor.

There were some lags when scrolling through the UI. This is because that MIUI is not optimized. MIUI is a heavy skin, so we were some lags, which I feel should be removed with some future software updates.

But no problems occurred while jumping through different apps and multi-tasking.

The cooling is very bad on this phone. Playing heavy games in their highest settings for just 40 mins raises the CPU temperature to 76-degree Celsius and Battery temperature to 46-degree Celsius.

In the highest graphics settings, the gameplay experience is quite good but few lags were observed but gaming experience at high or medium settings was excellent on this phone.

Overall, the gaming experience on this phone is buttery smooth. The AnTuTu Score of this phone came out to be 4,49,989 which is just shy of 4,50,000.

Poco X3 Pro has a quad-camera setup:
  1. 48MP primary camera
  2. 8MP ultrawide angle lens with 119-degrees of FOV.
  3. 2MP macro camera
  4. 2MP depth sensor.

It also has features like Dual-LED flash, panorama, and HDR.

The photos from the primary camera are not that great. The colour saturation does not perform well. Details are not that great. The colours tend to over saturate and the images do not look natural.

Also, there is a colour shift when switching from primary to Ultrawide angle lens. But, in ultrawide shots colour saturation looks perfect and natural. Highlights are far better in ultrawide angle lens.

In portrait shots, the subject looks a little darker also tends to sharp the subject. The blur effect is also not that great.

Macro shots look decent and colours are also natural with a good level of detail.

Poco X3 Pro has a 20MP selfie camera. The Selfies look like portrait shots. The subject looks darker and have a sharp tint.  The Selfie camera has the features like HDR and panorama.

The low light photos look quite decent. They tend to have better sky details. Turning on the night mode, the photos look more vibrant and add more highlights and details. They also have a good amount of sharpness.

You can shoot videos at 4K@30fps and the videos are very much stable with the gyro-EIS. Though this phone does not have OIS, the videos are well stable and even details and colour tones are also good.

The selfie camera can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps and the video quality is also decent.

IMPRESSION

Poco X3 Pro is an excellent gaming phone at this price range. It provides a great processor. As, gaming and performance is the main highlight of this phone. The camera does not perform well. It also has an IPS-LCD screen, which has 120Hz refresh rate.

Overall, If you are a gamer and looking for a midrange gaming smartphone under Rs. 20,000 then you should definitely check this out. But, If the camera and daily use is your priority then you can skip this phone.
